Using Leftover Novelty Yarn

Knit a simple gift for your favorite young reader using leftover novelty eyelash yarn.

With these simple bookmarkers, you not only get to use leftover eyelash yarn, but you can also make a quick gift for the young reader in your life in about five minutes. You can also knit colorful sets of three and tie together with yarn for prize drawings at libraries or in the classroom.

For these Simple Knit Fuzzy Bookmarkers, all you need is leftover eyelash yarn and size 10.5 US (9.0 mm) knitting needles.

Gauge: unimportant. The bookmarkers should be roughly 4 inches (10 cm) in length.

Cast on 15 sts.

Knit 5 to 7 rows, depending on how wide you want the bookmarkers.

Bind off.
