Ivy's adventure begins on seemed like a typical autumn evening. While playing in her backyard, she sees something unusual in the woods. What she sees is a fairy, and she is sure of it. So the following afternoon, she decides to investigate. This investigation eventually leads her through a magic gate into another world called Zandria, a world where fairies, dwarves, elves, and wizards live as well as human beings. Ivy, who is not only “Less than Ordinary” but also “Not Very Brave,” finds this upsetting. However, in this new world, Ivy finds some new friends like Arden the wizard, his apprentice Connor, and Kaia, the fairy she followed into Zandria. With her new friends, Ivy sets out on a journey to recover a talisman that will not only send her back to her own world but will restore order in Zandria and save this magical land from the rule of an evil sorceress.
